BADA Fair Events
The 2013 BADA Fair special events programme is currently being planned and will be confirmed in the Autumn. Below are details of the 2012 special events which give an impression of the range of topics the programme will cover:
Thursday 22 March 2012 11.00 – Event A - The House & Garden Style Report: the major interior and decorating trends of 2012. With Carole Annett, Commercial Retail Editor and Julia Page, Retail Editor, House & Garden
20.00 – 23.00 – Charity Gala Dinner in aid of HITS
Friday 23 March 2012 11.00 – Event B - Country Life and the English Country House: the story of an unusual partnership. With John Goodall, Architectural Editor, Country Life
Monday 26 March 2012 11.00 - Event C - ‘A covetous and greedy fellow.’ Canaletto and the British. With Colin Wiggins, Special Projects Curator at the National Gallery
Tuesday 27 March 2012 11.00 – Event D - ‘Royal Protection and Modern Collecting: A guide to the BADA Fair’s Loan Exhibition. With Robert Miller

BADA Fair to have new Chairman
Laura Bordignon has been appointed as the new Chairman of the BADA Antiques & Fine Art Fair. Laura has been exhibiting at the Fair since 2001 and has been a Director since 2009. She is Italian and deals in Japanese art and will bring a strong international following to this British event.

Charity Gala Evening in aid of HITS a success The Charity Gala Evening, held on Thursday 22 March 2012, in aid of HITS (Head Injury Through Sport) was a huge success with over £83,000 raised on the evening for this worthwhile cause. |

The 'House & Garden Style Report' is a sell out
The House & Garden Style Report event, held at the 2012 BADA Fair on Thursday 22 March was a sell out. More than 40 people booked in advance to hear Carole Annett and Julia Page give a presentation on the current trends in interior design. They provided a rare glimpse into the work that goes into producing features in one of the UK's favourite lifestyle magazines as well as giving some top tips on emerging styles and designers to watch. They also spoke about how to use antiques in contemporary settings, drawing on examples from within the Fair. |
